Just learned that developing the B-29 was the most expensive U.S war project of WWII (outspent the Manhattan Project even, apparently).
Pretty amazing that the B-17 started the war (developed sometime in the 30's if I recall it right, 1939?), and the B-29...
Looks expensive to maintain.
Maybe you all should give up the military hardware and just stick with the Lies-and-Laptops.
