    No start

I would disconnect the small wire on the starter solenoid and see if the problem continues(with the batteries reconnected).

Yet another dumb ? Turn signals this time!

There are only 3 or 4 styles of switches. (The truck I drove today has that same style switch) With persistence they are all easily operated. No sticky needed.

Do you mean starter solenoid? Yes Underdash relay? No

    No start

The mention of the starter not engaging prior to this, is a possible indication that the solenoid could have caused the run on/stuck engaged starter. Time to inspect everything. Next time as soon as there is a problem, you should fix it.

    No start

Perhaps your starter engaged (relay failed on)while you were running last and you did not notice it. You should have done the relay mod the day you read about it. I'd guess your starter is shot now, as well as whatever wiring and fusible links burned.

I suggest you find the basic operators manual and read it, before worring about how to use the turn signal(that's covered in it).

Disconnecting the fording kit on a M923...

If it were me, rather than go through all the work and trouble of towing it 25 miles, I would just drain some out where it sits now.

M939 8.3 cta compressor failures, need function info

Guessing you are referring to a -10 TM. The higher levels of TM should cover diagnosis and repair. Many of the M939 series trucks have had sticking expello valves(air drier). The compressor piston pumps all the time. There is a "unloader valve" built into the pump and there is a governor...
