That IS scary looking wiring. I'm not an electrician, but the little I know says that bare conductors and something like the all-steel frame of a vehicle is a bad combination.
But I'm guessing the amperage is so low that there's no real danger to anybody; is that right? Do you know anything...
That's a right solid pedestal, and that tube steel in the frame looks serious; is that 1/2" wall?
I wonder what that stuff weighs per foot; like 10-12 lbs?
What do you do to remove the old floor pan, prior to replacement:
- is there a defined 'seam" to follow for taking them out?
- And would you cut it (like a Sawmill), or burn it out (or other)?
