When the solenoids fail, it's an intermittent thing. They're extremely voltage sensitive. A battery that will vigorously crank the truck won't always actuate that solenoid.
I'm guessing not, for the following reasons-
1) I haven't observed a difference
2) the TM doesn't differentiate
3) The way the military thinks, if the wrecker and tractor needed a heavier one they'd simply spec the heavier one for all trucks in the series in the name of standardization...
