The Allison is close to maxed out with the NH250. I believe its rated for something like 800 lbs/ft of torque.
Wreckers are known for early transmission demise due to the weight.
Duals get a two part wheel retention device.
The inner wheel gets a "thimble" that mounts over the wheelstud. And sleeves the wheelstud with larger diameter threads. The outer wheel then goes over the thimble and is retained by a lugnut compatible with these larger threads.

No modifications need to be made to the axle. You will need to change out the rear lug nuts to ones like you have on the front. They're available at Napa and similar places.
A muffler off a large truck will probably not add much back pressure and will quiet the exhaust.
Since much of the noise is not from the exhaust, a well ventilated enclosure may be your solution.
My opinion, not that you asked for it- run with what you have . You have plenty of spares. Change out to 395's on mrap rims with spacers at some point in the future.
G177s look good on a deuce. The clearance is just barely not enough and they don't hit all the time, just intermittently...
I have one high back hmmwv seat, attached to a battery box cover (passenger side obviously). It's in KS. I don't plan to attend the GA rally, but I suspect Dave will so perhaps we could hitch a ride with him.
