I saw this mentioned in Slate's breakdown thread. I didn't want to hijack his urgent thread for this nonurgent discussion.
I've had an unloader stick. I blew the moisture out with compressed air and then shot it with WD40. Problem solved. Remains solved some 5 years later with no further...
Someone here may have more knowledge and experience than I do, so i welcome comments...
But this is what I do -
I take a deep cycle RV battery with two sets of posts. I connect one set of posts to the battery charger. I use jumper cables and connect the other set of posts to the "bad" AGM...
Those are the best batteries going.
You can probably resurrect the two "bad" ones.
I have 2 of those in my HMMWV, dated 2011. It was the only one of my MVs to start at 17 below.
IIRC, spec is 8psi at hot idle. Typically you'll see more like 30psi.

Changing topic, to the OP's original question - I don't think $10k is going to get a 4man variant that doesn't need major...
Sounds implausible, right?
Except that quite a few things that were considered "zero probably events" happened. HMMWVs sold without shredding, MTVRs being surplussed, and the list goes on.
So I wouldn't bet long odds against it.
1) The sprag t-case works fine. They're a little fragile, and very intolerant of rolling backwards while in a forward gear. My understanding is the only way to go to an air shift t-case is a t-case swap.
I've been stuck in a truck with a sprag t-case and it turned all 10 wheels in forward and...
When you lack enough experience to develop opinions of your own and you're forced to make decisions relying on the opinions and experiences of others, it is best to solicit opinions from as many sources as possible. (Referring to the OP)
I've had a bunch of these trucks (5t and 2.5t) with tires...
