Did you replace the GP relay with the proper one? It needs to be an isolated relay that has no common connection between the relay coil and the high current contacts. Proper replacements are a NAPA ST85 or a Trombetta...

Pictures of the dunnage and shelter shackles. The front and rear of the dunnage keep the shelter from moving fore and aft.
I have my shelter shifted to the left side of the truck slightly to offset a weight imbalance, there is more equipment on the right side than the left.
Yes, I used chains on all four corners. The chains are for mounting antenna brackets to monopoles and the turnbuckles are for tower guy wires.
As for the four smaller shackles, I do not believe that they are used to secure or lift the shelter. We used them in the Air Guard to drag the shelters...
I used 3/8" chain and 1/2" turnbuckles to secure the shelter to the tie downs. It hasn't moved yet.
As for the dunnage, I had an Amish friend of mine build it. The shelter fit snugly for the most part. After some "trimming" with a chain saw, it fit well.

TM schematic is incorrect. The color one here is correct.
All of the Orange wires go on the output side (glow plug) of the GP relay. None of the Orange wires go on the resistor side.
