Yes I did install new poly for the body, trans/transfer case mount, springs and radiator. I am looking forward to seeing if it improves the ride.
Also installed second fuel tank, transfer pump and associated wiring. Replaced every piece of rubber I can find. Had the engine rebuilt, transmission...
It's much easier if there is someone else there to position the cab in the correct location. And if you do not need to cut the floor pans to get the body mount bolts to come out and go back in.
Actually, these trucks are pretty simple to take apart and reconstruct.
Marcus,
Actually some of the pictures were added to help a member with exactly what you suggested. He needed some info on one of the items that are on the rear of the engine that is not easily seen. Your idea of having pictures of the more difficult and unseen places is a good one.
I'm trying...
That's a good idea, I should have completed that prior to reinstalling the power plant. Never even thought of that modification.

GEN1 Positive is connected to the GEN2 Ground terminal, this terminal is isolated from the GEN2 case ground. It is "floating...

That's why the stud is there and not a rivet. You can have the normal card functions and a by-pass function without ever touching the vehicle wiring.
Add a wire to that stud, thru a momentary switch to ground and have a push button by-pass. Just one of the few modifications that were added to...
