I think you have 2 issues, interrelated.
Your expello valve is intermittently sticking in your air dryer. This is preventing you from building air past 70psi.
When the expello valve isn't sticking open and you do reach 120psi and trip the unloader, the unloader is sticking. This causes air...
Apparently results vary. This is the first time I've heard of one blowing almost immediately.
I've used 12v LED tow lights plugged one pin at a time into the 12pin 24v trailer connection without issue.
Skrilex, FWIW I agree with your assessment.
I agree with you. But it's $50. Not worth the stress. Stress will kill you. Believe me.
Take it as I bought this particular bit of information for $50, and let's all benefit from it.
The remix point, or the point at which the fuel again becomes useable is higher than just above the gel point.
For example , if we assume that the gel point for your particular blend is 10 degrees, then the remix temperature may be as high as the mid 30's.
The pour temperature will be...
Replacing just one of the two batteries sends up red flags for me. You should always replace them in pairs. Otherwise the mismatch (even slight) will kill them in short order.
Does it crank at all?
Edit - apparently it doesn't crank at all. I suspect weak batteries, even though the charger...
That's a bit stronger statement than I'd make. I'd phrase it as "the age of the tire is but one variable among many".
I've had a nearly new tire blow also. 75mph in the red truck, back when the redtruck was new. *BOOM* and the driver side steer tire delaminated and did $2k worth of damage :(
At least two of the tires I blew had no visible dry rot and looked good. I had a g177 blow that was better than 90%.
Age, UV exposure, and heat kill tires.
I don't think tire age plays into the off road restriction. Otherwise we'd see it on all the vehicles.
Drive everything as if a tire...
A 10 year old tire that sat in a warehouse in OKC isn't the same as a 10 year old tire that sat in the AZ desert.
I've had several blowouts, two of which were on steer tires. (5ton trucks). Everyone should experience this :) !
If the prospect of a blowout is disturbing to you, just buy a set...
I wouldn't put 395s on the stock wheels.
With stock wheels, your choices come down to 11.00R20 NDTs or G177s.
edit to add pics of G177s on the stock wheel, and 395s on aluminum MRAP and adapter plates.
