Thank you, ColdWarrior for the vids.
It brings back the flyovers here in DC last Summer (B-17s and also Fifi, the only flightworthy B-29 left).
When those babies flew over it brought out the Rebel Yell in me; it was an emotion you just couldn't contain:
- It was a combination of the thrill in...
Think how cool it'll be when we won't even need phones or devices of any kind anymore. It'll likely be cranial implants or something similar.
What do you think, 50 years? Not even!?
But pat yourself on the back, because at probably a good $150/hour for labor (not even figuring the shop fees, overhead and profit), think what you saved yourself in pocket money! That adds up. :naner:
It might be a matter of definition. The world is a complicated place.
There's a woman now in Las Vegas NV facing a murder charge and something like 60-70 counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
The weapon was a sedan, I believe.
I think it was a four-door. Two tone.
That's what I LOVE about Steel Soldiers; just LOVE it:
- There's always somebody here who knows everything about something.
I couldn't have asked for more; thanks a million, bikeman!
It drives you nuts doesn't it? When we do STUPID, like it seems we sometimes do.
But i'm walking into the minefields here, so I think I'll turn around. Right now.
There are all kinds of variables (like "bullet" weight, etc.), and I'm no ballistics expert, but stopping a 12.7mm round is pretty impressive.
My reference point is my service with the NATO rounds at 5.56mm and 7.62mm (and I recognize this won't be your favorite), but are you saying the armor...
I never even heard of a blackwood tree until now, Aussie; gotta get out more.
I might have to grab a toothbrush, jump on a flight, and buy you a beer, and maybe you could show me one of those. I like trees. That'd be cool!
That raw steel is a good look. It'd be kind of wild to slap a clear sealer on it, and drive it around like that (he says without it even being HIS truck).
Your craftsmanship is tops. It's really looking great.
That's a twelve-string guitar (which isn't the kind of thing just anybody plays), and the casual woman (?) in the background makes me wonder:
- Is this a shot from a music video or something?
I wonder if this kind of product would do you any good.
Have you ever heard of this stuff?
