Anyone ever break an Air-O-Matic bracket like this before?

Do you mean the rotational amplifiers? I don't think the stock steering gear box would handle the constant added stress. (especially when not moving, if you turned the wheel).

My 2hr project (finished at midnight)

Any pics of the whole lathe? Some of us are tool junkies too! Neat simple project. Did you turn the threads, or use a tap and die? I have a Boxford VSL500 and a South Bend Heavy 10.

Bulbs, 12 volt, 24 volt, trailer, lights, info

Each bulb(tail and brake) uses a seperate bolt for ground. In other words, you must ground both bolt holes for all the bulbs to function.

    M1009 Glow Plugs - 24 or 12 Volt?

You better design a new controller card for that plan, the sock unit needs to see the voltage drop, to work correctly. You could just duct the exhaust from a small jet engine into your intake... Practical improvements are all thats needed. One wire, less than $2 and a few minutes time.

    M1009 Glow Plugs - 24 or 12 Volt?

The whole reason for the resistor bank is to make a normally 12 volt GP system compatible with the 24 volt NATO slave start. You can simply rewire to 12 volts, rather than add a device to make 12 volts. The only time rewiring the GP relay to 12 volts might hurt you is, if your front battery...

    Horn squealing when first started

The line that was open, may be your airpack vent or your fuel tank vent. What did you do with it? You have a bad air solenoid on your horn.

    M1009 Rear Reflective ?

Try a search for "delineation". That should pull up a few threads that might help. I think I recall seeing Tim Clark selling them at a show last year.

    Broken M101A2

Do it right? Pull the bed and build a complete frame with a dump hoist on top of it. Anything less than a full framed, hydraulic hoist dump, is insufficient. And I really do not think the bed is all that great for a dump bed, to start with(either).
