That might be a while.
I guess you could drive down to Florida and glue it up there!
But maybe that plan isn't real workable for you altogether. I mean, you know.
Do you like fresh orange juice!?
Yeah, but go figure, some people still refer to the First Nation peoples as "Indians".
Old habits die hard.
No where did that thread go? Did you see it!? It was just here a second ago...
Welcome from Virginia.
There's a LOT of good wisdom and feedback about your model of truck here on the site, and you won't regret the time you spend noodling around all the threads to find it.
We'd love a shot of your truck if you got one, please.
I was stationed at Hueneme in the 80's, and never knew the history or the scale of the operations there during WWII (I guess my Navy had other fish to fry at the time).
Very cool to recognize all this now. Thanks for the post!
Thanks, John; I kind of thought that might have been covered but wasn't so sure.
And thanks for not killing me, because I didn't get the grocery shopping done yet this week.
I know what you mean Dr Goldberg MD; it seems kind of "light". And there are a lot of variables for sure, but the chart below indicates (on an average I'm supposing), that the shear strength of a 1/2" bolt (Grade 2) is:
- 1470 lbs
So 4x that is 5,880 lbs (close to 3 tons). I'm thinking that...
And welcome also from Virginia.
You might post a stand-alone "Hello", so we can give you a proper welcome (and also because nobody wants to hijack anybody else's thread).
Hey, that's nice work and it's appreciated. It's amazing that you got the shots at all:
- The "go fast" fly over here from JB Andrews now and then (Arlington Cemetery flyovers and that kind of thing), and by the time you hear them screaming overhead and reach for a camera...
- they're all...
