Thanks for the explanation rmgill:
- Physics is very cool
The part about it in school that I didn't like was the test-and-quiz stuff and the d*** grades to worry about.
The only crucial tree ID you ever need to make is whether the one you're under is a "Widow-Maker" (WM) or not.
Watch out for the WM:
- They are typically sneaky and deceivingly quiet during approach
But, Brother, they pack a wallop once they connect.
The igniter is electric, but the burners are gas aren't they?
So wouldn't you be able to just fire up any of the other burners with a match or something?
So, the 2-3 psi is all that is required to keep water out because I'm guessing the water depth is so minor (< 4' +/-), right?
2-3 psi sounds so minimal, but I'm guessing it's enough to "push" out any intruding water.
Because i'm guessing fording anything deeper would require proportionally...
All indications are, mercifully, once "in the ground" all risk and threat is totally eliminated (nothing there to fear: The End).
Unless you buy into the Hindu idea, and it starts all over again. Wonder if the Green Disease stays with you, and carries over into the next life!?
Any Hindu sages...
Until about a month ago I used to be able to select text to delete, paragraphs at a time. But that doesn't work anymore. Now i Have to hold the backspace key to do that (which is a time-consuming PIA). Might be related to your upload issue, who knows?
Absolutely I get it; totally.
Just adding a note also about something I read once about the city:
- It was hit by one of the biggest earthquakes ever registered in the U.S.
- I think that was late in the 19th Century, like the 1890's or something.
The town was leveled if I'm not mistaken...
I'm in, just to hear all the chatter about Charleston:
- The Washington Post just labelled it one of the ten best restaurant cities in the U.S.
Subscribed.
Well, stud; like it said in the book:
- Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus
We're never really ever going to understand each other. We all just got to let that go, you know?
