try DISCONNECTING the oil pressure sender at the block, from the wire, this will tell the anti start while running relay, that it is not running no matter if there is a stuck pressure sender or not, the oil pressure sending unit could be holding or sensing a bit of pressure when cold
can i PLEASSE bring a truck to my place, i promise that i will take care of it and find the problem, all at no charge to the U.S. ARMY, this is a GREAT deal, i would not be slow on acting on the offer.
still sounds like a bad ground. though could be as simple as the cold causing condensation, in a relay, making it stick open (example the oil pressure switch relay that keeps you from trying to start the truck if it already running) the heat dries it out ,could also be getting a false (as has...
i pulled the rear drive line on the 819, i dont feel the two rear axles fighting each other, though i do get axle scrub with tight turns, more of a sideways drag because of my length wish thay made somethimg like above for the 5ts, ive been temped to pull the axle and install a front hub cover
BJORN or anybody eales A QUESTION
some of the cranes that i have run have the 290 version of the 855, they don't have a motor control box, what does the control box control, i know it controls fuel shut off solenoid, it also controls start, all of that being said, can wires be run from the...
does the starter solenoid click when first engaged, if so there is a good chance that the solenoid contract disks are BURNT, some times the disks stick because of crud and don't rotate thus making contract in one spot and causeing them to burn and no longer make contract or little contract and...
could be the motor control box if it has one like the 809 series, still think its bad gounds and most likly the same bad ground spot on ALL the non starting trucks
if will does not, the bepco part # is 6997324, 24v, any truck shop will have one, i got mine from napa, also install a spring on the manual fuel shut off, so in case you have to turn in ths over ride, you can still shut down the motor, just like a deuce (this was WWs idea)
i may of missed it, (at my age its easy to do) just where are you planing to fly to then drive back from, theres a good chance that there is a SS member close by, he would be happy to go over the truck with you, show you what you need to know and do. this would be a lot better then srarting out...
i would NEVER use a 4 wheel, steering axle trailer, unless as a LAST resort, going forward is simple, backing up with a deuce or 5t will bring words and thoughts that you didn't know existed
I hate to say it but this DB crap is getting old, this DB stuff has been going on for quite a while (seams like years, maybe it was), every time DB comes up, we get 7, 10 , or more pages of the SAME stuff that's here. EVERYONE knows how well liked he is. ALL this posting is NOT getting us...
the 246 is the same as the 819 except the earleir series, the only thing different is the engine, get it if it runs or not, there is at least $3500 in parts, there is a bunch of us that have m62s or 819s , all the AW stuff is the same except the boom
