Most people swap the other way. The 400 amp is large and cumbersome and even causes issues for some people. It requires different brackets. It is a PIA I strongly suggest you remain pat.

Look for a cracked bolt or a loose bolt or incomplete or broken brackets. Use a straight edge to make sure everything is either parallel and lined up without displacement, or at exact right angles.

Sloshing fuel is a very bad thing at low tank. Air in fuel can cause stalled engine at speed. I would absolutely repair.
