    added a spare spare and an easily accessible hydraulic jack. At least two of the other rigs that I travel with run the same 16.5 inch, two piece, double beadlock wheels that I do. The tire on the bottom of the stack is mounted, ready to go. The top is a tire only. Recall these H1 wheels/tires...

    Re-wiring the whole truck: enough is enough

    now that the truck has a roll cage Will try going with two of these 6 circuit boxes that mount to a roll cage element. One push button will be for glow plugs, the second for the starter. I discovered that when I am harnessed in, I can't reach the dash mounted controls.

    ancient Indian artifact? No, just petrified bumpstop. Replacing them, turns out that using shocks to limit suspension travel is no bueno :)

    I see two- electric cooling fan setups out there. I am imagining rewiring them in series then powering off the 24 V bus. Guess that would go in the mods forum, sorry :)

    Oh, I don't know, I can imagine DC motors driving alternators, power steering pump, even an air conditioning compressor. Could be a modular design: each function in a box with its corresponding motor. Just a thought experiment, not claiming its practical.

    New exhaust system. Went from dual to single, drivers side exit. This is because the dual mufflers take up alot of real estate under there, and I need the space passenger side for "transfer case stuff".
