What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I am curious to know, KE7FVB, what is that thing above the cab; a weather vane or something?

This is sort of related, but do you know about this site that offers an encyclopedia of MV's from WWII? Check it out; it's great resource. Is this kind of what you're talking about? Somebody referenced it here on SS in another thread once: http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/vehicles.php

Working On The M561 Gama Goat

It's curious how the Japanese are some of the biggest fans outside of the U.S., of things American. Besides things like our MV's here, this also includes: - Baseball, and - Bluegrass music (I kid you not). I do not have an explanation. Maybe some Japanese SS member (if there are any), could...

    Got a Deuce! '62 M35A1

I like that parts cleaner. I cannot justify buying my own (just don't need it often enough). But I sure wish somebody like Lowe's or Home Depot had one in their stores you could use for a fee. How long do you generally leave something in there before it is "done"?

Taking home a KraZ 214b - need some help finding front axle shafts

There is no MV project for me now. My activity at the moment is just "keeping pace"; plugging-and-chugging. And no hug ever led to harm in my experience. There can never be too many hugs in the world. A big hug right back at you, Skull Crusher!

Working On The M561 Gama Goat

Oh I got it; maybe I was mistaken: - I thought the accessory kit was by a third-party maufacturerer (looked like it was some operation called "Legend" by the packaging). Makes more sense that it would be by Tamiya, of course.

Working On The M561 Gama Goat

Amazing to me that there is an aftermarket in accessory parts for scale models of the Gama Goat: - Enough to justify a third party manufacturer to produce and package a "baggage" accessory kit. That's pretty cool!

Undeclared War That's not good news: - It might be decades, and it might be centuries. Guessing time will tell.

That sounds like contracting: - A good contractor can drag out the response "two weeks" for close to a year if he's got the skill. :-)

I am just curious, SCSG: - Are there some that do!?
