Sorry about that, wasn't clear enough:
- Rising Phoenix is sold,
- And Plan B is now titled and tagged to me, and being fit-up for "duty"
I'll post a glamor shot of the rig once I get it all outfitted. Cheers!
Thank you, marchplumber; you're a good man for the words of encouragement.
Don't think I need hope and prayer right at this juncture, we'll see, but I'll sure take all the good luck you can send. Here's hoping for the best!
The day that engineers design a vehicle as much for the mechanic (doing the maintenance), as the operator (doing the driving) will be a good day.
I don't believe any vehicle has ever been designed for both.
Sold to a buyer in Middlefield OH:
- Don't know if he's an SS member
I'm out from under a plan that went south on me, and hope the buyer is a happy camper.
The End.
Excellent outcome Artisan, and it all looks terrific:
- Amazing you found that motor the way you did.
- And you didn't even mention your boarding ladder (great item).
I also noticed a roller at the end of the frame; is that flatbed a roll-off!?

- The active duty EO's I worked with were mostly fresh out of "A" school, and so I'm guessing played all...

- As we completed it and pulled off the job, a tractor-traler arrived full of food goods to store in it.
- Owner told me it was a year's worth of product for the entire family.
If I remember right, he...
We had them with battalion in the Seabees, also:
- An all-purpose workhorse
I saw them used as hoists, mobile scaffolds, loaders, buckets; you name it. As inventive as the battalion was, the RT's could do it all.
Never saw one with the on-board crane though. Liking that.
My younger daughter criticizes me in the car constantly for how often I use the horn when I'm driving; and particularly for all the times she hears me say out loud (anonymously, to people ahead)
- "Please don't be stupid"
I think her anger is sort of funny; she (of course) does not.
I agree (or ignorant for sure, anyway). But moron or not you still don't want to be the one to hit them you know!?
Been noticing the new dog leads lately though: fully reflective. Wow!
Pull onto the dark street, blind to the two people walking (almost inevitably in dark winter coats), and...
