I would think basic stuff like check fluid level, I don't think color would be an issue if you broke a hard part inside, make sure the transfer case linkage didn't fall off and not work the gears....weird stuff happens...have someone put it in gear with the feet on the brakes and see if you can...
Are you looking for the sticker that shows what the switches do or the flat metal bracket the switches are mounted to? I have seen that sticker on ebay and I think a guy on here and the metal bracket I think Hillbilly wizard has those online as well.
Any chance you popped the transfer case into neutral?? If you go into D1 does it do anything? When you say no action does it just rev up like a clutch car with the clutch pushed in? As far as the other driver, it really depends on how much of a trans drop they were doing to figure if they did...
I'm just gonna throw this out there that since that tach is not stock and not in the tm I'm not sure many people have any clue how to fix that. Is the VDO website have any diag or tech notes on how it is hooked up and how it works? The voltage should not be 32 volts as well...way to high. If...
So he had a fun morning swapping out his lift pump. He did it all by himself laying across the top of the radiator. He got under for the fuel lines but fished the bolts in and out from up top. To be 17 again!! Took about an hour. Unfortunately, the new one didn't work at all, so I hooked up an...
That does look like the correct isolated ground style you need. Yes if you test the ground it shouldn't be there on the case as well. One thing I would suggest, if you haven't already, is hit the tech sticky on how to diag these alternators....there is a great one in there that will walk you...
So it happened again!! Dragged one out of the weeds that had been sitting since 97. 2 tires were completely gone, but 2 still had air in them. It does not have a tailgate, so a raccoon family moved in and ate the rear seat! Front driveshaft is bent. Has a very nice rt524 radio mount and wiring...
That's tough to have to deal with. Sometimes I think half my brain is grey matter with no connections at all. TBI sucks!! I order most everything online and pick up and sometimes get it delivered....I can keep track of what I got going on much easier. Sounds like you put the parts in the...
I figured they can use either so I went with the dot 3 since it's very cheap and easy to get. I didn't rebuild anything first just used my pressure tank to push it out! Yes I would rebuild my calipers too, that's cheap and easy as well.
I wish Amazon would let me copy a link but since I already got one it won't....but I got a this
Lisle 65750 Windshield Tool
copy that in Amazon and it's 5.60$.
Copy that and it should come up in the Lisle tool store.
The guy I got parts from is in Hazelton which is not far at all from where he is...not sure how to get the 2 together. He had a complete rear axle still together...wouldn't take much to get the parts off it.

Ok I was just up that way last sunday snagging parts off a 1009 that had the rear axle on it still. Not sure how he'd get to him to get the parts though but I'd bet the guy would be pretty cheap. That is a 2 1/2 hour drive from where I am.
Can you read anything on the old bearings if there's anything left on them? Sometimes they have some mark on them. IDK I think I'd try another standard set. There's several online military surplus guys that list them for sale pretty cheap. 01-152-4239 I think is the NSN for the set but I'd...
