I am curious. Since I know nothing about HMMWVs, my question is - are the newer HMMWVs equiped with the 4L80E transmissions? If so, aren't these 4-speed with a parking pawl? If they are, why wouldn't the shifter stuff for one of these later vehicles work with an up-built 700R4?

You may want to consider one of the Derale pans which has the drain plug, but also a bung for a temperature sender as well as heat sink tubes for additional cooling.

Just had another phone conversation with Jeff at Bostic. He said to use NA injectors on an NA engine and Turbo injectors on a turbo engine, because the injectors are calibrated to the fuel requirements of each version of engine. Makes sense I guess.
If that is indeed the case, it looks like I will need new 6.5 injectors. Only question now is, injectors for NA or turbo (see my revised Post 18 above).

The main reason I wanted to relocate the shock tabs, along with installing ORD's U-bolt flip kit, was to eliminate everything hanging down which could snag brush and rocks.
