On the m939, the heater core is a great place for funk to accumulate if not flushed out regularly. First time, I flushed it, I was amazed how much "mud" came out.

load test your batteries individually when fully charged 12.4-12.6 I suspect one or both are not up to spec. I am ole and old school and use one of these to load test charged batteries...

Narton makes a new model of the pushbutton that has a deeper face and fits the hmmwv dash better. I have that on my hmmwv with no issues. Also have the other style on my m923. Both require a supplemental ground wire.

One way is to turn on the heater and use the drain petcock on the heater core.

Just a fyi when you look for parts. There are 2 parking brake handles. Early style did not lock and real easy to bump open (don't ask me how I know) and the revised locking handle. The new style is backwards compatible to upgrade.

Check out black mountain industries on ebay. I have used their slip on cover and the quality is vastly superior to oe. They are pricey but as they say you get what you pay for. The commander's seat style is the taller bucket seat than the shorter bucket seat that can be in any of the 4...

On the driver's commander seat. If the foam and seat is ok, you can get replacement covers in upgraded material in different colors on ebay.

I believe those are not radials so they can not be mixed with Michelin or goodyears which are radials if that is what you are doing

You can pry or cut off the "wing" and use a deep socket. The wing usually comes off easily. You can Use brass nipple and male/female adapter with new drain cock to make It easier in the future. I believe it is 1/4 npt thread.

Yes, my truck has done the same. I think it is poor prep and the nature of carc that was applied. The newest stuff appears to lay down and adhere better due to a different composition.
