Ok this is not the truck I posted to start the thread. Your truck is from Yermo. The truck I initially posted is from Albany, GA. But its still beautiful. its up to you to make it what you want. They are all blank canvases in my eyes. My finished truck, in my avatar, is also an m1045a2.
True. However, its likely not all of those parts will be on a 3k parts truck. Those 'HRVST' trucks have alot of parts yanked off already, especially the Smart Start Box, alternator/generator, TCase, Doors are never ever on, Dash and Guages. The engine and/or tranny is likely shot which is why...
It's a compelling question. One must still evaluate the true cost. Let's say you get lucky and get a parts truck for 3k. After taxes and fees what's that? $4500? Yep about that. Then there is transportation. From Yermo or Albany to wherever you live. For some of us that's quite a distance...
I think we're both taking the same approach. My understanding is that the IBISTEK windshields don't interfere or require a certain set of armor to function with the standard threat doors. The std armor windshield however may be a different story.

I suppose youre right. I just couldnt find the part anywhere so I didnt know if this was even something available as an individual part. I thought this is somethign that only came with certain tailgates for some reason.
I have looked high and low for these. I can't find one on epay or in any of the forums.
It's this green panel that fastens to the tailgate and has the straps mounted to it. Please let me know if anyone has one or can locate one.
Thanks
Does anyone know the weight of the 1167 or the 1151 REV trucks? I am referring to the weight of their configuration post demil process.
Govplanet is using the curb weight of the truck as listed on the data plate WITH the armor but that is not how the truck is being released to us. I would...
I am hearing many people speak about the large 400 Amp alternators in the newer trucks and that they are so large / heavy that they will eventually damage the harness for the truck and recommend removing it and swapping it with the 200 Amp alternator. What is the group's thoughts / experience...
