I can't find anything about the Team America hitch and design he had. I know he sold a few on here and it actually attached to the pintle.
I...
I found my sales receipt and my tow hitch is the Curt # 15800 . I had written down the 15400 as one to look at. The 15800 fits great under the deuce and with the adapter can tow with any 2" hitch.
I think the 15530 has been discontinued. The 15800 is a 2 1/2" receiver good for 20,000#. The 15400 is a standard 2" good for 17,000#. I just put the 15400 on mine. Using a 6" drop hitch put it at the right height for me. Amazon has both of them. My hitch install.
I'm in a bind... I need to put a civy receiver on the deuce to haul hay for Dad, before he gets injured using his little 1/2 ton to haul 10,000lb loads of hay. ( I plan to use the curt #___, with 15k rating)
My problem is...
I'm looking to see if a 10" drop hitch will be enough ?? (with 395's)...

There's lots of threads on this site about Reese trailer hitches and 12v brake controller conversions.

For an M35a2, any receiver for a standard 'chassis' truck should have the same 34" wide frame mount. just pick the manufacturer you like, and what class you want to be able to tow. I went with the Class IV Curt 14082. rated for 10,000 lbs, same as my truck, and uses a standard 2" hitch. ($160 on...
I am in the same boat-no 5 tons, but I want a serious flatbed trailer to haul stuff. The only m-series trailer I've seen is MTO-20 EET that's linked below and it weighs more empty than the deuce is rated to tow.
Looking at Holden's site, they do make a smaller flatbed trailer, the MTO-16...
this hitch is for a deuce frame
I'm not sure it will fit a 5 ton frame which has 29 to 33 inch frame if I remember correctly
