    4wd / GEN 2 light issue

    86 M1009, My GEN 2 light doesn’t come on during the starting process like the GEN 1 light does. However it illuminates along with the 4wd light when I shift into 4wd. Anyone know what might be the issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    What is this part?

    New 1986 M1009 owner. I was driving my M1009 for the first time after buying it. I was about to leave the parking lot after driving to work and I heard the sound of metal hitting the ground. I looked below and saw this piece on the ground. Does anyone know what piece this is or where it goes...
