yesterday I took the goat for a ride. Suddenly there was a smell of burnt rubber. I thought I had a flat tire but... it was the center bearing of the drive shaft. The rubber was gone, totally burnt... I disconnected the drive shaft from the rear diff and went home. Now I have to replace...
During the easter days we had a meeting at the training ground of the Lucius D. Clay Barracks, Garlstedt.
Nearly 50 military vehicles took part and we had lots of fun! :driver:

The 3-53 of my goat doesn´t reach normal operating temperature...
If I push em to the limit the temperature will go up to 140° and it should be 180° - 200°.
So I opened the thermostat housing and i found the thermostat and another part.
I´m not shure if it belongs to the thermostat or if it is...

I´m searching for a really bad crack on the right front side of the Goat when it starts to roll.
U-joints are ok, seems to be inside the front diff.
It only happens sometimes... but than the hole Goat shakes!
Something seems to stuck and suddenly dissolves!?
