Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Last night i was outside just finishing up the full service on my M35A2, and everything was going great, nothing but small amounts of metal dust on the magnets, perfectly normal, then i pulled the plug on the transfercase. I'm pretty sure it's the fabled...
I was just messing around today getting some of my equipment cleaned up and ready for the summer and wanted to see if the deuce would fit on my backhoe trailer just incase i ever had to go retreive it. It does. Don't mind the flat tire, that's actually why i had the trailer out to check it over...
While looking for fiberglass tops for my truck (since the hard top on there is a little worse for wear) i see i can get them for around $700 or so. For that price i can get an entire crew cab cab from a silverado. There doesnt seem to be a whole lot of things what would need to be relocated and...
I did some searching couldnt find anything out about it, the guy at DMV seems to think it means Solid Waste Authority and that my truck was used as yard truck at a dump or something. I explained that i really dont think that they would deface the vin identification plate to prove ownership of...

Ive watched many videos of cold start ups etc, and everyone has an air buzzer going off including my own when i start it up, its down to 30psi or so by morning. My question is WHY?! I know air leaks, its an old truck but where are these slight leaks commonly at? Is it from the air pack? The...
I was loading the flat deuce tire into my pick up truck today (man those wheels/tires are pretty heavy) to take it to replace the tube tomorrow and i figured i'd snap a few pics for comparison for those looking who may not be familiar with the size of them. Counting my pintle hitch on my crew...
I got one of those all in one kits with all the filters including air filter kit. I dont know much about air compressors but i know these were designed to be hooked up with a 3/4" hose to the air box so i assumed this was where the are filter might be. I wasnt positive so i stuck my pinky finger...
I took my m35a2 through inspection today, sat in the inspection lane about 30-45 minutes idling. Inspection manager caem out just i was the next car in lane and told me they were only going to test my brakes because i had visible smoke at idle. I actually got out and looked at it, and its...
I just bought it, the plate says the engine was replace in 1988, it has 51,000 miles 1400 hours or so, how can i tell when it was rebuilt? Do they mark it somewhere? Or do they replace the odometer and hour meter when they do so?
