I need an illustrated parts breakdown of the IP on a multifuel,1972... I have something binding in the throttle shaft inside the IP causing to stick..
I need the spring and associated parts that help return the throttle to off position. Contacted Memphis Equipment and I'm told they are not available. The location of the parts is where the linkage shaft enters the IP. I understand there is a spring in there and other parts. These parst can come...
Went to start the M35 and the throttle was sticking and the pedal had to be pulled up by hand. I disconnected the linkage from the lever on the IP and tried to move that lever and it is extremely hard to move back and forth. What is causing it?
The throttle linkage itself moves freely when...
I'm trying to find someone who has the hose the runs from the firewall inside the cab to the switch that switches to front wheel drive. The one I that is on the truck is leaking. New/OE if possible.

After about 60 or so miles of driving my M35A2, with D engine and C turbo, has a hard time maintaining and getting to top speed. Hubs feel warm and not hot. Starts and runs fine from cold start. It also struggles on the smallest incline.
I live in Fort Worth and are looking for fellow SS members that may need a second person to help work on thier M1009 or M1008. I am going to buy one in the near future and I am looking to get some "hands on" before I do. I can only help on the weekends and bring a strong mechanical aptitude. No...
Went and previewed a 1009 and while looking at the drivers side engine bank noticed that all the glow plug wires were plugged in but there was a spare. I gave it a slight pull and it felt connected somewhere inside the harness but not connected to a glow plug.:cookoo:
I just wanted tp let SS know that I met Brent from GL today. Folks he drives all the way from Hooks to meet with screener's and load outs. He's is a great guy to talk to and very helpful.
Did the 4th of July parade and the e-brake would not hold. It has never been a problem before. It would hold on almost any inclines. One day it was working fine and the next will not hold.
What has been checked and troubleshooting I have done to fix it is:
Loosend the hand adjuster on the...
I took "Haywood" out to make some $$ pulling folks out of the mud at TMS. Sorry I could not get some "action" shots because I was so muddy. But, some friends of mine had their kids out there and he took a couple. I could not get to people fast enough to pull them out.
Who was at the 24hrs. at Daytona race? I saw a Deuce in the background when Terry Labonte ran out of fuel and was in the inner camping area trying to get back to the pits. If this is a re-post, sorry. My wife was confused because I jumped up, she thought it was a big wreck. I told her, "**** no...
This is a fellow SS member that allowed me to use his deuce for a car show/fund raiser at my daughter's school. It was canceled at the last minute due to the swine flu scare. But it was worth posting a "thank you" for trusting me with your truck.
Fifth gear is real loud. Shifting is butter smooth. All other gears are quiet but fifth has a loud wine. Fluid level is correct/recent change but I did not have the chance to hear it before fluid change. I used 80-90w GL-1. It's not jumping out of gear, tranfer case fluid is good. Ideas?
On some days my M35 engine sounds like it is about to come apart and on others is as quiet as a gas motor. What gives? It burns no oil and is fresh, fuel filters are new, running better that 50% WMO and deisel mix, does not have any unusual "knock's" in the motor on cold start, oil preasure good...
My doors close good, but at the top of the glass when the windows are rolled up all the way niether window fits right. Smaller gap at the botoom of the window and it tapers out at the top/front. The back of both door windows snag on the windowjam twords the back of the cab.

I have flipped the switch on the dash on my M35 a couple of time for the air shift front axle. But should there some sort of clunk or something other than the light coming on. Will it "crow hop" like a regular 4x4? When I have flipped the switch it gives me no other indicators the front axle is...
Went to lunch with the wife and on the way to pick up some paperwork from the office "Dixie" developed a mis-fire. Not good for a multifuel. Got to the office and found that the No.1 injector line had started to leak around the IP, like a flood! Making a panic move I went down...
