The duece ground to a halt yesterday after visiting a show, at a very busy town centre junction :( .
After some roadside checks I came to the conclusion that it was probably something to do with the injection pump. So I had a buddy tow me home with his truck.

I bought a winch and most of the parts to go with it, last week. One reason for this was because I have had trouble with the truck bouncing on the motorway. I've had another thread running about this and have had some usefull advise, but the bucking/ bobbing/ bouncing was always still there...
After a 2 hour drive yesterday , I came to start my deuce today and nothing happened when I pressed the starter. The ignition switch powered up the pump and the guages came alive , but there was no reaction from the starter switch. I tested the continuity of the switch which is fine, but no...
Can anyone lay any light on this, getting up to 40-50mph in some situations the truck starts to judder/bounce. you have to ease off and then feed the power back in and its ok till the next time. I don't think its the wheels out of balance as i've swopped them around.

I'm just about to start replacing my old pump with a new one. Before I start could someone please advise me on the best way of re-timing the new pump when it goes on.

i've got an A1 truck and decided to fit an A2 transfer box.
Straight forward swop, got everything connected and took it for a test run. Up into 4th and a vibration started and got worse as I went faster. So back to the w/shop and checked everything was mated up...
