Ok, for the life of me, I cannot figure out what the tube mounted outside the passenger's front door jam is for. It kind of hides behind the exhaust so I never noticed it until tonight. Checked the TM's and searched but couldn't find anything on it. What is it?

I am currently designing an A/C system for my truck and am looking at the Vintage Air Universal Vacuum Evaporator. I would like to use a vacuum controled system for relyability reasons (no dead electronics after fording). My questions is where can I pull a vacuum line from? Any suggestions...

A quick question for the EE's out here, would a setup like this work for equally tapping 12v off the two batteries? The diodes would keep the betteries from shorting out but I am not sure if the ground on the second batteries would screw things up. Just a thought and wanted some input. Thanks
