I just replaced the master cylinder and wheel cylinders on my 1967 M151A1. I was recently told that I could not bleed the wheel cylinders by pumping the brake pedal (because it would destroy the rubber in the new cylinder's). How else would I bleed the brake system?
This is a problem continued since last fall. Since the weather here in WNY has got warmer, I have re-started looking for the cause as to why my 1009 won't start. I let the plugs cycle 2 times (sometime 3 times) before starting. No luck. But, I sprayed some WD40 along with some starting fluid...
I cannot get my M1009 to start. The batteries are fully charged. I have replaced the "glow plug card", glow plug distributer located on fire wall, and the fuel filter (which does fill with fuel).
I let the plug cycle three times and crank the engine for about five seconds as to not over heat...

I'm looking to replace the 16" wheels and tires on my M101A2 3/4 ton trailer with 15" rims 8 lug holes. Anyone know where I can get the 15" rims with 8 lug holes? Please let me know. I would appreciate it very much.

The horn on my 1985 M1009 decided to stop working a few days ago. When I press on the horn button all I hear is a clicking sound from under the dash. I checked the fuse and it's good. Did the horn relay switch go bad? I also noticed a
capacitor in the wiring just before the connection to...
I purchased a 1967 M416 trailer which needs a lot of restoring. I started to pill out the old wheel bearings and the left side was easy to come apart and the bearings are junk. The right side is a different story. The wheel bearing race is froze solid to the axle spindle like it is one piece...
I have a 1985 M1009 Blazer with 32504 miles on it with the military spec batteries which I figure they are the original because of the low mileage. The problem I'm experiencing is the batteries are fully charged but when the ignition switch is turned on the amp gauge moves up to just below the...
