I have read in several places that there is some kind of adjustment on the steering box that may get rid of slop in the steering wheel. The issue is that no one actually tells you HOW. Just that its there. I have looked all over my steering box and I don't see any kind of adjusting nut or bolt...
I found a lot of articles about lock out hubs but in none of them did I find exact model numbers.
Does anyone know specifically which lockout hubs fit the M37?
I think the Mile Marker Selectro Hubs might be what I'm looking for but even they don't know which model fits!
I FINALLY got the truck running and running well. What a mission this has been.
One issue I have now is pretty bad hesitation right out of idle. She idles well but when I initially press the gas she bogs down bad then catches up and runs well after she revs up.
I have adjusted timing and idle...
Hello all. I have a bizarre M37 problem that I can not figure out. I'm hoping you smart folks might be able to point me in the right direction.
Firstly this is a 1952 M37. Mostly original but it was converted to a fire brush truck.
I have done extensive repairs to this truck. New wiring...
I have a 1952 M37. This is a brand new distributor cap, rotor and Pertronix electronic ignition.
I have been having some bad issues with getting her started so thinking I'm having an ignition problem I pulled the cap and noticed carbon tracks in the cap. Seems pretty bad considering there might...
I would like to replace my steering wheel with one that is a bit smaller. I am also installing power steering.
Does anyone know if the original Humvee (HMMWV M998) wheel will fit? It looks good and is 14" rather than the monster 18" I currently have...
I have an M37 that I believe had a heater at some point as I did have the defrost cowl (which is for sale if someone wants it).
The question is that I have a hose that goes from the front of the block to the rear. I am guessing that this was the feed to and from the heater and it was bypassed...
I have a 52 M37. The previous owner left it sitting for a long time and when i got it it had badly contaminated fuel. I have replaced or cleaned every part from tank to carb. I have also replaced the points with petronix electronic ignition. I have also replaced the coil and checked timing (2...
I have a Carter M2090 style fuel pump that has the glass bowl attached. Is there supposed to be a filter element that goes in there? If not, whats the purpose of the bowl? Sediment or something? I have searched and searched and have not seen one picture with an element inside the bowl.

I have a 1952 M37 that has been painted over many many times (so no hood or bumper numbers). Just today I found a dog tag sized plate on the upper left of the firewall (engine side), near the passenger side hood hinge.
The numbers on the plate says 49102-19788. The 49102 is a larger font size...
