A guy I know bought an old Lotus.
When he went to get title the CA DMV said "There is a military Humvee with a same VIN# registered in Kentucky since 2011".
The Kentucky DMV had sheriff involved and can't located the Humvee anywhere.
I am pretty sure a LOTUS VIN# is much shorter than a...
A friend is leaving the area so will be putting his M37 up for sale.
Does the fact that it is former air-force make any difference in value?
Still wearing its original light blue paint.
Extremely low mileage, runs, has both a hard top and winch.
Looked around the forum but not seeing a value...
Visited a neighbor today who is clearing out some of his project cars.
Mostly hot-rod cars and parts from the 30's and up.
Among the trove is a never mounted Phillipine made "Jeep" body.
I have no interest in it and no idea of it's value.
His story is that they were made as replacement bodies...
The hoarder I work for part-time has asked me to help sell some of his stash.
Among the mass of wrecks and hulks sits a five-ton that "Ran when parked".
Not sure of the model, set up as a tractor, soft top cab.
Pretty much rust free as it's been kept in the dry Nevada desert.

If these would drive a 15 KVA...

I readily admit to not being a diesel mechanic, so pointers will be much appreciated.
It seems it is falling to me to bring several Gen-Sets back into service after hibernation.
Unfortunately they were not put away properly, I think most were...
"Ran when parked".
Post up your desert, forest, farm field, bomb-range, and barn finds.
Bonus points if you rescued the truck or found someone else to do so. ;)
Here is one sitting "Up on the hill" where I work part-time.
Ran When Parked, owners son says they used to drive it in the hills...
I work for a building contractor/hoarder who has a lot of ex-Mil. equipment laying about.
Someone might be able to talk him out of the "Duece and a half"? tractor he is letting sit, it needs rescue.
I will try to get a pic, typical "Ran when parked" like so much of what he has.
Among the hoard...
Thought I had joined this group a couple of years ago but could not log in, so here I am, again?
Land Rover is a 1977 RHD, GS, FUT, ex-RAF Rapier missile carrier, also FFW (So 24v) and fitted with Nokken winch.
Only been driving it a short time.
Previously sat in Kalifornia for several years...
