Well this truck is definitely a learning experiment for me. I see what you're saying. I appreciate the knowledge. This will be an adventure at each step of its progression.

Since it was posted as a common modification at the top of the forum i figured this is was problem a lot of people have ran into and there was a fix.

After seeing somebody's solenoid fail on the CUCV Facebook groups I went ahead and did the doghead relay mod... I can sleep better....

OK... I'm interested! If we do it I will mount my 1919 to it.

And now I'm contemplating this a little much...😂🤔🤔🤔

Now just figure out mount for the 1919 and I'll be set!

First serious project is to try to find and stop the rust. It's in extremely good condition but i will need to replace a rocker. It's not bad but it must be stopped! Then it is on to deciding if we straighten EVERY panel😂😑

The title finally got switched and i have plates! Me and my oldest boy went cruising around town for an hour and then grabbed some milk shakes. This was a good purchase!

Picked up this M1009 from a friend. It's bounced between a few friends and now it's my turn. The truck runs and drives great. I've already jumped into repairs. The GAUGE cluster lights only work on the fuel gauge side and the housing is pretty much shot. I will pull it out completely...

Very cool! Good progress on getting it going again. I can't wait to see more updates.
