    Crew cab deuce

Mine seats 4 but it's only 2 door and it's a soft top

    M37 seat alternative choices?

I installed a pair of 5 point MRAP seats in my deuce. The seats have a lever to allow the back to tilt increasing or decreasing from the normal 90 degree. Obviously these seats mount like normal seats from the bottom of the seat to the floor, I'm wondering if there is a way to mount using the...

2016 Ga Military Vehicle Rally buy/sell/trade thread

Assuming I get the truck ready I will be at the GA rally with 4-5 Deuce NDTs, 2 MRAP jump seats with mounts, the center gears from a deuce rockwell axle, and anything else I can find to get rid of. First come first served and priced to move extremely quickly. i.e you get it or the scrappers do...

    Powersteering and 395/85R20s rub issue

As recommended by Quadjeeper I welded a nut on the end of the stop and it has fixed the problem. Stops the wheel like 1/8" before rubbing, only issue would be if I aired down the tires but that would be offroad only and I'd probably not be making a hard turn like on city streets. Now the next...

    Powersteering and 395/85R20s rub issue

Thanks, the pictures really helped. I'll let you know how it works out.

    Powersteering and 395/85R20s rub issue

I'm going to show my ignorance of steering components but where are the steering stops located. I might be fine with the steering I have if I can stop the wheel from turning before it rubs.

    Powersteering and 395/85R20s rub issue

Has anyone used the Waterloo power steering system with the saginaw 710 steering box. If so have they also upgraded to super singles. I have had the powersteering for a long time and it works great. However, having just swapped to 395/85R20's with the MRAP adapter plates I now get tire rub...

    Someone hit my truck!!

Quick update: Every year my truck is in the father's day car show, I have my own dedicated spot at the end of the street in the median. This makes life easy because I just drive to the barricade and pull straight in avoiding the official registration line that my truck would never negotiate...

    LMTV Tires on a M35A2?

I was of the impression that MRAPs also ran 395/85R20s. If so your question is if the metal wheel will work. I know there are centers available on the classified section for MRAP wheels but I do not know if the MTV family of vehicles uses a different wheel. One would hope it was standardized...

    Someone hit my truck!!

I'd like to thank John and Mike in Columbia for helping me with parts and lots of valuable information. Now time to start getting to those repairs

    Someone hit my truck!!

Looks like the axle tube is bent, tried to use a straight edge but was difficult with all the other stuff in the way. Also the torque rod assembly (dog bone) is bent at the break point. Waiting to see what insurance says before I start shopping for an axle. Had planned on redoing the frame for...

    Someone hit my truck!!

The vehicle had temporary tags and the registration had not been changed over yet, so more than likely they didn't have to provide insurance to the dmv yet. I hope they ran because they didn't want a DUI not because they were uninsured. Contacted my insurance company and am waiting for a call...

    Someone hit my truck!!

The car was definitely totaled. However, she ran away and was either drunk or still dizzy from impact because the witnesses said she was not walking straight. Cops have an ID and are looking for her. Car had a temp tag and probably didn't have insurance so guess my Uninsured motorist policy...

    Someone hit my truck!!

Well I THOUGHT I found the answer and then I got out the tape measure. Here's what I have. The Axles on the drivers side are center to center 48", that seems like a nice official length to me. The passenger side is at 45.25" center to center. Also when I crawled under the vehicle and measured...

    Someone hit my truck!!

Found the answer, this is the passenger side front axle control arm. The more I look at the truck it appears that the middle axle is farther back than it should be on the passenger side and that is what is giving the appearance of it being pointed outward / . Should have looked under the truck...

    Someone hit my truck!!

Based on no damage to the fuel tank or anything to the rear of the fender, being that I didn't see it I think that hitting the front passenger corner pushed it back and towards the curb, this caused the deuce to roll over the chock block behind the second axle and get pressed against the curb...

    Someone hit my truck!!

Don't see the leak in the pictures, all the fluid is from the other vehicle and the dark part on the ground is a black plastic from the other car. As far as other stuff I did get it stuck last week so there is a lot of dried mud that has dropped on the ground from being struck.

    Someone hit my truck!!

The leak is brake fluid. As far as driving forward I took it around the block and it is still off. I think I'll have to slide under and see if there is something bent that is keeping it from re-centering.

    Someone hit my truck!!

So, on the way home from work for lunch I get the call..."Everything is fine but someone hit the deuce then ran away." I just laughed. Get home to the wife, cop and a bunch of college kids. I'm still laughing, as far as I can tell she was going really fast down a residential street missed the...
