    Dump hoist and removable bed

Something else I keep seeing over and over but can’t seem to find a definitive answer on is the winch truck hydraulic System. What is the pressure and flow rate? Many users say the pto driven pump can’t be used for a hoist because it is only single stage and higher flow. I have also never seen...

    Dump hoist and removable bed

@timberrrrrr Not sure if you are still on the site. Were you ever able to make a video with this in action. I have started a similar project and just found your post. I was very surprised to see you didn't use any rollers on the rails similar to commercial units. Have you every tried to...

CTIS pressure settings increase - no programming, transducer, or module required.

I guess I misunderstood whether the different programs resided in the controller or in the ecu of later model trucks. I thought read general saying the higher psi would work on A0 trucks as well. As far as the over speed I guess that was wishful thinking.

CTIS pressure settings increase - no programming, transducer, or module required.

I always wondered why my newer black box Dana/Spicer controller would always flash "overspeed" on my A0 dash when my original Green controller (which has broken buttons) would not. I have to check my wiring, but are you suggesting that a wiring change could make this overspeed go away in...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

So I pulled the speedometer from the truck. Good thing I did because I found a tiny little hole with a screwdriver slot that says “CAL” so questions answered. Anyways here are a few more pictures and part numbers.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Not a bad idea. I do already have a tach (winch truck), but maybe they make a round GPS based unit. I will have to look. Or just a universal programmable unit.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I think my 93 may have have been very early off the line. When I get a chance I will have to pull the speedo out and look for more information or branding on it.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Ronmar here is a shitty picture but it is what I have right now. Maybe they are under that plate marked 319 now that I look at this picture again

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

If I was to install eco gears how would I get my speedo to read correctly? Before you say adjust the dip switches my 1993 A0 does NOT have dip switches. Possibly a replacement speedo that is adjustable? Thanks

Bell Housing Rpm Sensor- P/N Help

Dang, I have got to get better at searching this forum. Everything is here, finding it is the issue. I ended up buying the same sensor from Dorman as it was cheaper then the Napa part number. Comes in today so hopefully my next post will be everything working again.

Bell Housing Rpm Sensor- P/N Help

Thank you. Idk how I missed this. I looked up and down that sheet. I think I looked in the drivetrain section too much. I also just found the Oem PN in the TM pictured.

Bell Housing Rpm Sensor- P/N Help

Ya. I think I posted too soon. As soon as I changed my search terms from speed and rpm sensor to proximity sensor they started popping up. The factory one is like $250 so ill just splice the connector as you said. I think it’s 18mm but I will measure the thread at work tomorrow.

Bell Housing Rpm Sensor- P/N Help

1993 AO M1078 Winch I decided to investigate my non-functioning tach. Followed the TM checking continuity and ohm readings. Ultimately I had a bad reading right at the sensor so I pulled it. The tip is absolutely mangled. This sensor is the J38 connector with sensor on the bell housing. After...

    LMTV CTIS Question

I have issues with my tach (not working) , speedo (bouncing/wrong speed), and possibly harder than normal shifts. So that might explain the CTIS issue as well. I know I am located closer to Superman then most. At some point I have to meet him and pick his brain. I need to look into east coast...

    LMTV CTIS Question

These recent posts reminded me of some quirks I have with my CTIS system. For the most part my system functions normally. I have two different CTIS controllers. The first has a torn button ribbon cable. Therefore this controller will only run in hwy mode, but other then that functions...
