Need CUCV 24V Alternator Wiring Diagram

The schematic was not very clear. It was as detailed as a Chiltons is. I could have missed a better one. I looked under alternators, around page 80.

Need CUCV 24V Alternator Wiring Diagram

I had the alternators rebuilt (yes they are both isolated grounds) and thought I installed the wiring correct, but I want to make sure before I start up the vehicle. I am mainly concerned about the stud that is not the main power supply on both alternators for a 24V system. Anyways, can...

    6.2 Surge at 50mph

I am driving along and at 45-50 mph, there is a little lack of power. Then when you hit 55mph its has all kind of power. Is this a injection pump failing. I have a new fuel filter installed with the factory setup. It also is a little hard to start. You have to pump the gas 2-3 times...

    CUCV Trailer Wiring

Thanks for all the help. It seems for the 1985, the easiest way is to find the trailer connector and modify that with a short lead to carry the civilian style 7 pin connector.

    CUCV Trailer Wiring

Can you purchase a harness for the trailer wiring that has the male end for a 1985 M1028 (guessing model does not matter) to convert to the standard connector? I would guess the plug from a military trailer? What about wiring diagram? There are more pins on the CUCV then a standard 7 pin...

M1028 Cold Start - Is there a factory block heater on this truck?

I am yet to locate the plug. Being that these could have been used anywhere in the world (in theory) I would have thought they would have block heaters. Anyone know if there is one factory somewhere, if not a add on kit? Thanks Nick

    M1028 700R4 Conversion Been Done?

I was wondering if anyone has ever converted a M1028 with the transfer case over to a 700R4? I know the standard truck and suburbans ran 700R4's with a 6.2, but there is different equipment. I am guessing you sacrafice strength and it can be argued that a good trans shop/guy could help that...
