    yes much brighter, the ligh itsel is clear and emmits green. originals were green LED. something happend i mentioned in another post and i watched them burn out so to find so many options for replacements now was fantastic!

    My mistake in the excited state of finding what gmg has been out of stock and no luck anywhere else I was eager to share. It is a MEP-802a from 94. Here's a pic of the tag on my unit.

    update: everything works fine. all i did was loosen and retighten the x1 x2 a1 a2 on the starter circuit solenoid and now everything is fine, except for the burned up indicator lights, however the sockets tested good perTM. maybe i over-tightened the nuts when i assembled the new starter circuit...

    Agreed. The big red flag to me was as stated above the green led indicator lights turned color and burned out usually signifying an over voltage to an led.

    The connectors were on there. I put the color zip ties on before I removed the wires that were in tact. The ones that were rotted off I looked at the print line and found the "t" number printed on the black wires. Thank you guys I hope i don't sound like a wise guy just trying to provide more...

    I never touched the switch on the co trol panel I can provide a picture of that later on as well. It worked before I replaced the rusty crusty white topped solenoid in picture 1.
