hey guys have been searching for a while to find the panel light for the ac interrupter and the battleshort light. did some digging and found a replacement.

from aircraft supply under the ge lamps tag they are listed as a #327 bulb (available in multiple voltages and colors)

gave it a quick amazon search and found from the seller Aero Lites a 28v #327 and they worked perfectly. ordered the green to match the original lights

Its a good idea to write the type of gen sets you found the parts for. The old DED sets use a completely different type of bulbs, than the MEP-80X sets. So please edit your post here. Good find. They are getting harder to find now days.

If I remember right, the 327 type is for the DED sets. They also fit the Fault Indicator lights.

For the light bulb connoisseur:

this lightbulb manufacturer, Satco, lists every type of lightbulb made in the last 50+ years on 144 pages

The section for miniature & sealed beam start on page 125
The “327” is listed on page 127 and shows rating of 28V 0.04A 1.12W and T1 3/4 flange

yes it is. As a side, the lightbulb type numbers are usually embossed or stamped on the socket of each bulb and require at times a magnifying glass to read / decipher them.

@alupo122 that looks really nice! It seems brighter; is it?

FWIW: I've sourced rare/odd lights from McMaster.com as well. They have these in stock, in the incandescent version in clear, red, and green versions;
