105 spring packs on a Deuce

Ok its not what your thinking. I'm not wondering if 105 springs will work on the rear for bobbing a truck, I'm wondering if they are a suitable replacement for the front. I have tried to find NOS or a good matched pair of used Deuce springs in my area and have not been able to come up with much...

    Fuel tank leak

Well it's been 3 days now without a drip. I used black RTV because I thought it was resistant to fuels. If the RTV breaks down and the tank starts leaking again what sealant should I use? I removed that flange off the old tank just to see what sealant was used and it almost looks like a white...

    Fuel tank leak

Well after returning from the MV show today I noticed the brand new fuel tank I installed on the Deuce was dripping. At first I thought I forgot to tighten the drain plug but after further inspection the leak was coming from the flange the drain plug threads into. I drained the fuel, pulled the...

    Expansion line

Just purchased a nos fuel tank for the deuce after crunching mine in Haspin. Just so everyone knows the cab will contact the fuel tank if you get the frame twisted enough! My question is I would like to paint the "allow for expansion" line on the new tank but not sure the proper placement. How...

    Question about front springs

Okay here's the numbers for the 10 leaf. The perches look like the standard 4 degree. They measure 17.5mm on the low side and 23.5mm on the high side. The spring pack I have disassembled so I'm unable to get the entire thickness. However, each leaf measures roughly .375 or 3/8's

What to look for when purchasing a Deuce and a Half

It really comes down to price and your mechanical ability. Anything can be fixed with enough time and money. If your looking for a daily driver a deuce probably isn't the best choice. I have had mine several years and love every second I drive it but would never want to depend on it as a...

Request for Assistance - Front fender bracket

If I recall you can get to the middle of the three cage nuts by going through through the vent. I believe I was able to get a pair of vice grips on it enough to hold it while loosening the bolt.
