    LD & LDT465 Upper Limits

Been finding alot of post on repowering dueces and 5 tons. And I was wondering why; low power, parts hard to come by, or just for fun? I was figuring low power, and that led me to wonder what one of these engines would put out if PROPERLY modified, pyro, turbo, fuel settings, timming, ect...

    Navistar 7.3 vs LD465(all versions)

Would a dt466 or 6bt cummins not work well? Parts are easy to come by, simple as any engine out there, no electronics, rugged, reliable, and as much power as you care to make.

Works well but need a larger reservoir. The cylinder I had was a little on the overkill side and displaced quite a bit more volume than my power unit had.
