    New "C" Turbo Install

Looks great. Does the turbo really add that much power? Something like 15 hp I think is the published number. I've got a normally aspirated duece and have never hand the turbo experience. Am I missing out?

    The life of a Deuce...

I let mine (non-turbo) run for about 5 minutes at idle when she's cold before driving it. At short stops I let it idle instead of shutting it down. After a drive I let it run for about 3 minutes. Good enough?

    The life of a Deuce...

I'd venture to say that it depends quite a bit on how it's maintained.

    Coolant system filter

Okay, got them busted loose, mounted the bracket, so all that is left is the plumbing. Before I do that I just want to be 100% sure the hose is routed to the pump housing itself right? Kinda hard to tell from the picture. Once I get that sorted out I can go buy the fittings to attach the...

First time painting - what do I need to know?

I'm certainly no expert but have done a little painting on my trucks. Take my advice with a grain of salt. I sprayed 3 coats of primer then three of paint. First time I used synthenol and was happy with the results but because it can be a pain to get I use xylene now. Xylene matches up...

    M35A2 Insurance.. Got it!

Ditto on USAA. They insure my regular daily drivers and my M715 is insured through their partnership with American Collector but they refused to touch the deuce. They said their limit was 10k lbs. Do they know how much it weighs? I'd hate to make a claim and have them find out then... Also...

M35A2 normally aspirated engine exhaust pipe

Anybody know the O.D. of the stock exhaust pipe on it? Mine seems a bit small considering the size of the pipe near the muffler.

Anybody else in the Jacksonville, FL area?

Getting pretty lonely around here. I go to the local car show every first Saturday of the month and for the last 2 years I've been the only MV there. There is a certain joy that comes from parking a M715 or an M35A2 next to fully restored classics- I think they're afraid their cars might catch...

    Master Cylinder Removal

I didn't realize the manuals were available for download. I have a set on order that I guess I can cancel. That said, I replaced all the unnecessary parts we removed and by removing the plugs on the back we were able to slide the master out. It was hung up on the plugs and the brake lines...

    Master Cylinder Removal

I don't have the manuals... I just can't get it out. W'e're removing the four bolts that hold the mount on but that also requires removing the clutch linkage to remove the fourth bold. Looks like it needs to rotate down to free the master. What a pain in the a$$. Well, I guess I'll...

    Master Cylinder Removal

Thanks for the fast response. Other than removing the bolts from the master to the mount, the lines, and those four bolts do I need to do anything else to make that mount move? I disconnected the brake linkage to remove the plunger too. Just need to get that mount to swivel! I don't have to...

    Master Cylinder Removal

Does the mount the master bolts onto have to be removed as well? I've got all the lines and the bolts holding the master off but can't free it from the mount. Also, any helpfull hints on removing and replacing the master would be appreciated! Search of the forums didn't turn up much. Thanks!
