    Starter relay mod didn't fix problem

    M1009 replaced the starter relay, new starter, now the relay is still hot. we pulled the ignition switch off the stering colum and replaced it and still hot. now what? thanks Mud

    No isolated ground ??

    Alt on drivers side has lug and wire going to stud on intake, I think this is the isolated ground?? The Pass side does not have this and gen light 2 is on ( very dim ). from reading can I swap these 2 alternators and achieve the needed isolated ground for the 24v system. Thanks Mud

    Battery wiring M1009? blazer

    My brother just bought a 1986 blazer the batteries are wired positive to positive Neg to neg which is 12V is the isolated ground on one alternator what makes it 24 v? the starter seems to be dragging which makes it hard to start ( motor spins slowly ) or is the starter in need of replacment ...
