    M923/A1 Fuel system common issues

I am working on tracking down an air leak on my M925a1 now. It is a little wet around the handle end of my pump indicating to me fuel leaking around the piston shaft. If fuel can get out, air can get in. I was going to get into the parts manuals to see wht was in there for seals. You mentioned...

    M920 Rear End "Clunk" Noise

If it only clunks 1 time with each change of steering direction it may be a/the torque arm bushing/s for the rear axles. When the bushings are starting to go you will get a clunking noise that is very hard to diagnose.

NHC 250 Turbo Conversion in M923

Of you guys that have done the turbo conversion, fuel button replacement, and shimming, what horsepower range to you think you are in and how is your Allison MT654 holding up? As you all know they are rated for 300hp and 950ftlbs of torque.

    m 925 winch operation question

It has been my experience that as a general rule of thumb most applications involving a pto and hydraulic pump, have the pto gear ratio/pump flow output for whatever is being driven, with an engine rpm in the 1,500 to 1,800 rpm range so that's good advise for most hydraulic systems.

    5 ton lockout hubs

Don't get discouraged and keep up the good work. I have been silently watching this thread a long time and am of the thinking anything quality worth having is worth waiting for. I am sure there are many of us here that will be purchasing these.

    Deuce muffler option

Dont kid yourself, you still need hearing protection. As long as you have hearing, you have hearing to loose. My wife says I have selective hearing loss. Don't most of us?

    Deuce muffler option

Brought my first green truck home over the weekend. A 1967 Keiser Jeep M35A2 W/W. It didn't take me long to decide what one of my first projects is going to be! lol I love this site with all the info and help found here. Nice pictures of your install. gun ring cab damage

Question: to install one of these kits and then ring on a deuce with a hard top do you need a hard top with a gunners opening? Or does the required stuff to make the opening come with the kit?

What 5 ton transport vehicle, which to buy?

I have looked all over for a list of M numbers and a brief description so i could narrow it down. You are right on me not wanting a tractor. So the deuces have a 12' bed? Does that mean the larger class of trucks have a 14' bed?

What 5 ton transport vehicle, which to buy?

Would a 818 be in the 809 series you refer and a 925 or 931 both be in the 939 series? Does just adding a winch change the M number? Also are there better years of M35a2's to buy than other years?

What 5 ton transport vehicle, which to buy?

I have a friend that has I want to say a 1972 M35A2. Drives like most trucks of that era w/o power steering. lol. It has a multi fuel engine that is very loud. Must be the whistler turbo I have read about. I had to put my earplugs in or I think i would have been deaf after our 40 minute drive...

What 5 ton transport vehicle, which to buy?

Newbie here. Have been interested in buying a 2.5 ton truck for a while. Once I started looking into them I started leaning more toward the 5 ton trucks. Stumbled onto this site and have been researching here ever since. Anyway I see 8 and 9 series units like 818 and 925. I can drive anything...
