Putting a stereo and speakers in a CUCV pickup

I fabbed them, if you have the tools and time it's the way to go; just remember that the 6x9s and such are IB speakers (infinite baffle) so they don't like being sealed up in a box, for mine I cut a 3.5 hole in the bed wall of the truck (though you cant see it as the speaker pods cover the...

If it ant straight it aint right!

Get some patch panels, LMC truck has em', weld them in paint and done. for the areas you can't find patch panels, you can fab up some new ones or (the easy way) find a junker and cut em' out. Just take your time and do it right...in the end you will be happier you did.

I got my Bils from a guy online (forgot the name), run a froogle.com search for the best prices. You need the k5 blazer shocks (tell them you dont have the quad shocks though). Also I wouldnt get the poly bushings, as you probably want more flex as these are trucks not 911s, anywho to each...

    Wack a Door or something???

Well I tried to find any slack in the hinges, I was able to rock the entire truck w/o feeling up and down slack... I guess this means that the doors hinges are in good shape. So again now what to align everything!!

I think it will match when properly aligned. And the CUCV M1009 DOES have rain gutters on the door frame... I also have ALL new weatherstripping for the truck. Back to the question.... ========================================= So make sure the integerity of the hinges is O.K., then...
