Just did the same thing to my deuce and had the same problem.I took the stop mechanism back out and put it back in and it fixed it, i dont know what it was but something wasn't in right the first time.

Mine broke on my way home from buying it.This was my first time driving a deuce talk about pucker factor 10. luckily i was close to home and just nursed it the rest of the way. needless to say mine has 2 on it now.

the guy i work with just bought a trailer from clearfield he is just waiting for the euc. if he goes down there before it ends i could have him check it out for you. also i'm thinking of bidding on some stuff there if i win i could check it out for you.

ill talk to him this weekend and see what he is going to let it go for. one of them is a wrecker but i know he was going to keep the some winches off of it, as far as i know right now he was just going to scrap the rest.

just had a quick question, i came across a couple of 5 tons that a guy is going to scrap and was wondering if parts off of these would fit my deuce,specifically a hard top and a winch. also both of them have the multifuel so would the power steering components swap over as well. thanks.

this would still be dual circuit just in a round about way you would have 2 seperate master cyl the original one for the front 2 axles and a seperate one for the very rear axle,if you had a fluid failure on one of the front 2 axles the rear one would still work and stop you in an emergency,and...

i was thinking of a similar idea but instead i was going to use a airpak and master cylinder from a military generator trailer and mount it in the rear and hook it in to the service line for the glad hand and isolate the rear axle to it. any body ever tried this.

i tried putting pressure on the belt but it just slips maybe i need a new belt. when i tried the drive line i used 1st. wouldn't it be harder in 5th or am i thinking backwards.

thermocouple's should last hundreds of thousands of miles. check the connections if there good i would suspect a defective thermocouple or possible gauge.
