    Michigan Registration

I believe the title for mine has it listed as a 1971 Jeep Stake. I went with Hagerty Insurance $200 a year, but have to keep it stored indoors. Historical plates. Always seem to be doing maintenance runs.

    Frozen air tank drain

Would frozen water in an air line stop the truck from building pressure? This is the first winter with my Deuce. Is it ok to let the truck run to warm up and charge that batteries? I just don't want to damage the compressor. Thanks, sorry to kinda steal the thread.

    Deuce fuel pump blowing fuse

The old wire was a pain to get out. The part the wire goes through was crimped I had to put it in a vise to uncrimp it. Getting the new wire through wasn't easy either. VERY tight fit. Was so tight I dont think it'll leak.

    Deuce fuel pump blowing fuse

I was having the same problem and did exactly what you did same pump and everything. I replaced the WHOLE wire right to the fuse. The original had lost its covering and I think it may have been shorting out and blowing the fuse.

Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

The wire going to my pump now is pretty crappy looking. If I splice into the wire to fix it would that be ok? I would use some of that heat shrink stuff to cover my repair.

    Duda diesel bag fillters

I've used them. Just going to a 1 Micron no other filtering I could do about 50 gallons on the 1micron 4x16 sock filter before it was clogged. I gravity fed and it was horribly slow.

MV Licensing in Michigan - What are the requirements?

When I got my A2 a few months ago the title I got with was listed as a 1971 Jeep Stake. Got the Historical Plate for it. If I get stopped I'm just gonna tell the cop I'm road testing some repairs or something and hope it flies. I don't drive it all that often. Got Hagerty Insurance for...
