Ihad the xls on my dodge mega cab... used to run 70-75mph all the time for tank after tank.. trips from missouri to az to ga you name it ZERO problems could be due to less weight truck tipped scales at 9000
I went out just a min ago and tried starting it and it started without putting the pedal down it just took maybe 10 secs or so... the air filter is new.. ??
Well I changed the filters and bled the system NO MORE AIR But i have to put the pedal on the floor and after 8 secs of cranking it will start... RUNS great after that...
I fixed the hard start issue.... It had only gas in the tank... Now with fresh diesel in there it starts rite away. Minus the air being there... weather permitting its getting all the filters for the fuel system in the AM But we will see what happens
Yes the one you have with the red around it... It had some air bubbles coming from between it and the filter head so I tried to tighten it well the top part snapped off and then i tightend the bottom of it and no more bubbles from it. I was just wondering what its main purpose was and to say...

Ya after an hr of waiting and 5 gals of fresh diesel in the tank IT fires instantly with the pedal puched down about 1/2 inch... Its like a whole NEW truck,,, THANKS GUYS Now to figure out and bleed the breaks fingers crossed that thats all they need

Ya ok that pretty much makes life alot easier. thanks for all the help so far guys. Now maybe im not seeing something here but on a norm rig you open the MC and put fluid in it... The only way i see to do it in my truck is to open the trap door and take that line off the top of the MC and...
Well the MC is completly dry.. So i figured I would ask.. But the 7.99 for 11 ounces was a big shock when im used to paying that much for two quarts worth.. Any body know what the whole system will hold Im sure its prob at least a quart worth ..
My brake system is open and when I fill this up and get it stopping again, why cant I use DOT3 or DOT4 and if I cant why not not and If i can whats the downfall...
HAHA no no i didnt.. but no longer than it took me to pull, I might get around to doing that in the next few days.. That pump is alot bigger than i thought it would be.. But anyway its almost been an hr. so the real test will be in about 15 mins. FINGERS CROSSED.
