That sounds like a job for an ATV jack. ratchet strap some plywood to the jack and poof instant hub helper. lol

thank you oddshot. when cutting the frame how much do you cut off??? is there a standard length or just fly by the seat of your pants? I am a machinist by trade and I read a thread about the frame on a deuce being tempered steel, if I was to cut the frame with a torch that would take the temper...

now i know that there are threads about lifting deuces but i see you (gimpyrobb) posting on here a lot and you seem like you have a lot of knowledge to bring to the table. In your opinion what is the safest way to lift a bobbed deuce? Can you just put lift blocks under the springs like a pickup...

I have a pretty good idea how the process works but can you just move the rear axle to the mid axle position and not have to do any drive shaft work??

ok so i did some digging and could not find what i was looking for. What parts are required to bob a deuce? If you want the 53" tires do any of the parts/installation change? If I have overlooked any threads on this subject I apologize in advance.

I know this sounds really dumb but double and triple check that all the bolts are out of the intake. I cant count the times I started to remove an intake and missed a bolt. Whoever was in the engine last might have put the intake on with silicone and did not use a gasket at all and if that is...

ok, so is it possible to swap an air shift deuce T case into an M813 without it exploding into little pieces when I am in low lock and recovering a full size truck????? I guess my question is how strong is it and will it handle some abuse off road being attached to a cummins and all.8-)
