I saw this M-29 Weasel just outside of Kalispell Montana at the Army Store on Highway 2

Is this early Chevrolet an older military truck? It appears to have roots in the military looking at the grill cab fenders and tires, but I just can't tell. I saw it this summer sitting in a junkyard just outside of Columbia Falls Montana.

I saw this on the side of the road in Pierce Idaho. I do not know how old it is but it looks to be from World War II and they turned it into some sort of strange snowplow.
