I have had a MEP003a for a few years. I finally decided to get a 24v solar panel and controller. I used to always disconnect the battery. Should I continue to disconnect the battery or keep it connected and let it be maintained by the the solar panel?

Does anyone have the dimension handy for the fuel tank? I'm trying to find a replacement but I'm 30 minutes away Thanks in advance, Billypop Or if anyone knows of a source for a replacement. That would also be helpful!:grin:

Would it be possible to break apart some of the generator threads by size ie all threads having to do woth the mep002s and 3s together. All the smaller gensets together then the larger sets grouped together according to how alike they are. Reason being if you ar searching for a specific problem...

Just wondering how many hours any one has gotten or seen on a 'running' 002 or 003???? I have seen that some have said they should be good for about 10000. Or in other words $36,500.00 of diesel!!!!!!:evil:

I got 8 -003a last month out of S.C.. Each trailer came with 2 gensets. any body need a trailer or 4. Or have any idea of value of one? Located in eastern N.C. I have seen them on ebay but haven't seen them sold.
